Shirley was born and raised in the Forest area of Bedford County.  She has been at North Bedford Baptist Church her entire life.  She had many secretarial duties as a volunteer for many years. In October 1998, she was employed by the church as a part time Administrative Assistant.  She kept this role until January of 2014 at which time she became the Financial Administrator for the church.  Shirley enjoys every aspect of serving her “family” at NBBC and hopes that she is pleasing the Lord in her work as well.

She has been married to her husband, David, since May of 1986, they have 2 adult children, Josh & Jessica, a daughter in law, Haley and 2 grandchildren Emmy and Weston.  They have been a big part of support for her in her position at NBBC.  Her hobbies include playing bluegrass music with family, spending time with her family, and their family dog, Carly, and photography.

She is always willing to lend a helping hand if she can be of assistance to you at any time, she is only a phone call, text, or email away.
