Harvest Sunday – September 21
Join us on September 21 for Harvest Sunday, a special morning dedicated to celebrating the spiritual harvest God has produced in and through us. As we reflect on His goodness, we are reminded of the words of the Psalmist: “You have crowned the year with Your bounty, And Your paths drip with fatness” (Psalm 65:11).
Our Morning Service will be a dedicated time of reflection and thanksgiving. We will worship, hear testimonies of God’s goodness, and welcome a special guest speaker who will guide us in looking back on the past year’s work and God’s profound faithfulness.
Our Harvest Meal will immediately follow the service, the celebration will continue in the fellowship hall with a church-wide Harvest Meal. In the spirit of the farming tradition where neighbors bring food from their own harvest, we invite you to bring a dish to share. This meal is a tangible way for us to enjoy fellowship and celebrate the bounty of God’s blessings together.
Harvest Sunday is a joyful pause, but not a final destination. A wise farmer, after celebrating the harvest, immediately begins to plan for the next season’s planting. In the same way, we will gather to be thankful and rejuvenated, looking forward with great anticipation to the new fields of work God has for us in the coming year—a work that, together, we have already begun.
